    Come join Gabriela, Owner/Designer of Chalk and Notch Patterns to sew the Fringe. The Fringe pattern is a woven dress and blouse with two views. View A has a button up front, elbow sleeve and sleeve tab. View B has a pull over, notched front with a cuff. Both views include a blouse length, optional dress pockets, optional front or back waist tie and a shaped hem. The sleeve/cuffs are interchangeable for both views. A perfect pattern for a lightweight apparel fabric with nice drape. Recommended fabrics are cotton lawn, cotton voile, rayon challis, rayon voile, linen and double gauze. Supplies: Fringe pattern (pdf pattern included in the class price), fabric (cut and ready for assembly), tricot or lightweight fusible interfacing, matching thread, 5 or 6 buttons if sewing view A, a sewing machine that sews a buttonhole and basic sewing supplies.

     Come learn to sew with knits and create some great gifts in the process.  In this class we will make 2 knit infinity scarves or as many as time permits.  Your scarves may mix different knit patterns if you like but just be sure the knits you want to put together have a similar stretch. 

    Supplies: each scarf will take 2/3 yd knit fabric.  Please bring enough fabric to make 2 scarves.  Also bring matching thread, basic sewing supplies and I recommend a ball point/jersey needle for the project.
